There is nothing better than learning the basics to help build your confidence with your new computer. This area contains articles from past newsletters that have been updated for Windows XP and VISTA and Windows 7. These are common skills that are useful no matter what flavor of Windows you are running. I used to try (back in the Windows 3.1 daze), to let my readers know if and when a procedure would be the same (or similar) when they made the move to Windows 95. This helped ease a little of that fear that usually accompanies upgrading an operating system, not to mention SOFTWARE! Today is no different. Many skills common to Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 are just as applicable with the newest Windows operating system.

You might enjoy visiting CompuQuickTips and browsing through some of the older articles. What a trip down memory lane! You will see old Mrs. Wizard's skills have grown considerably since those early tomes. She's a lot more humble now, with the realization that life is too darn short, and she isn't going to be able to learn everything about this wonderful technology she has come to love so dearly. She still loves to share her knowledge. And that is a GOOD thing! ENJOY!
