I love your site and can tell that we have LOTS in common! We both love computers and great, useful utilities. I'm constantly looking for new goodies - especially freebies. I put my favorites on my bluemoonproduction.net site.
And, like you, I am organized and like an uncluttered desktop so that I can enjoy my desktop. I only keep a few icons that are temporary projects that I'm working on. Though I also have a Temporary folder where I keep stuff.
I use Stardock Windowblinds to customize the look of my windows (skins) and am constantly changing the appearance of my icons and desktop - everything. Now I'm using an animated cursor too.
One of my favorite freebies is SlickRun by Bayden, which you can find on download.com. It's a command tool utility that you can keep floating on your desktop (and move to where you want it) or keep it in your desktop tray until you're ready to use it. It launches everything you can imagine using easy to remember keywords (magic words) that you create. It's boosted my productivity, is light and doesn't use much resources and qualifies as a Tiny Treasure.

 Yes Dawn! SlickRun is great! I installed it on August 15 when I received your email, visited the site and checked it out, and was spoiled almost immediately. It really was easy to set up and since then, I have added several "Magic Words" of my own. It has become one of my favorite tools and I can't imagine what I ever did without it!
