 I just love it when readers share their finds with old Mrs. Wizard. This little goodie was quite a surprise. I was beginning to wonder if there was anything that could qualify as a Tiny Treasure out there any more. ATF Cleaner fits the bill perfectly. ATF Cleaner safely cleans out your temporary files in Windows (including Vista), including various cache files in Firefox and Opera. Keeping your history and cache files cleaned out is a great way to cover your tracks too, if you are inclined to go places on the Internet you wouldn't want your kids to see. And the best part is, you get to choose exactly what you want to clean before you do the dasterdly deed! There is nothing to install. Just download the program file (only 36 Kb) and run the thing whenever you want.
I think my favorite feature is the little window that appears when it is finished letting you know just how much space it cleared for you. This is truly a Treasure you will want to download and use a lot!
