Absolute MP3 Recorder lets you do down and dirty recording of any sound playing on your computer. If you can hear it, you can record it!
The beauty is in its ability to record straight to an MP3 file, rather than a (much larger) .wav file that would need to be converted.
 You can even set timers on the darn thing. Just make sure the program you want is running, then activate the timer and walk away. Of course if your Internet connection is interrupted for one reason or another, you could have a nice little blank area, but when it gets the whole thing, you will really appreciate it.
