DSynchronize100 Kb download One of the first things I missed when I got the new vista laptop was a little program I used all the time to synchronize folders from one computer external hard drive to another. It was an easy way for me to back up personal files quickly and no matter which machine I was using, I would always know I was using the most current file. Well, the old software would not work with Vista, and unfortunately the programmer is no longer available, and there is no support for the existing version (which hasn't been updated in years)... so much for that former favorite. Along came DSynchronize to save the day! This little FREEWARE utility is so easy to use you don't even need a help file. There is nothing to install. Just download the zip file and put the contents (a DSynchronize folder) anywhere you wish. When you want to use it, open the folder and click DSynchronize.exe. All your choices are right in the working window. Choose the sources and destination folders and how you want them backed up. I really like the timer feature. As I was working on mrswizard.com on the big machine, every ten minutes, any files I changed were automatically being sent to the corresponding folder for the laptop. Amazing. Thank you Dimitrios! Great Work!
