Personalize Your Desktop - Change Your WallpaperIf you're a long time Windows user moving to Vista, you will notice some things are similar, and you can still change things around, but you need to get there a little differently. Changing your Desktop Background (Wallpaper) is one of those little cosmetic changes it helps to know. Making your computer screen reflect your personality is important, and being able to use your own photos or favorite images is an easy thing to do. Begin with a Right Mouse Click on the Desktop...Right click any empty area on your Desktop (you do have one, right?) and choose Personalize. A new window will open with all your choices available. Choose by left clicking the words Desktop Background. Another window will open. Click the Browse button to navigate to where the image you want to use is located (if you don't see it handy). Click once on the image, then click the Open button to select it as your new wallpaper. Before you click the final OK button, choose how you want your image positioned on the screen by clicking in the little button to the left of what you want. You can also choose a different background color to compliment your image if you like. Click the OK button and you're done!
