The Cleaner is a wonderful little FREEWARE program that everyone who receives a high volume of e-mail from well meaning friends and relatives will appreciate. With just a few clicks of your mouse, this little gem will get rid of all those pesky << and >> signs for you, so when you share that joke or story for the 100th time, the rest of us won't have to wade through all those chicken tracks!
 There is nothing to install. Just download cleaner.exe, put it wherever you want, and click on it to run it. Since the file is under 500Kb, you won't have to worry about where you are going to put it. Heck, you can run it from a floppy disk if you like. In fact, put a copy on a floppy and share it with all your friends. Just make sure you think kind thoughts of the wonderful programmer who created it for us.
 To use it:
- Copy the joke or list from your mail program to the clipboard as you always (should) do.
- Run the Cleaner application and paste the icky text into Cleaner.
- Click the little happy face to clean
- Copy the cleaned up text to your clipboard
- From there, go back to your mail program, open a new message and paste in the cleaned up message.
If anything truly deserves to be a Tiny Treasure, this does. In the words of the author, "Well, enjoy! If you have any suggestions, just let me know... Feel free to distribute this if you know anyone that might actually appreciate this program." There doesn't seem to be a website any more, and no way to contact Mr. Chin.
Let's face it. Anyone who can create something as useful as this and give it away for free is bound to go far in life. Wherever Mr. Chin is, I wish him the best!
