I don’t get to spend nearly as much time on my Mac as I would like, but giving SiteGrinder a run with Photoshop on this Mac machine is a treat!
SiteGrinder works great on a PC too. Photoshop is the key. If you are comfortable with Photoshop, you will making friends with SiteGrinder as a wonderful web facilitator tool from within Photoshop.
This first page is part of a “mini web” constructed with Photoshop CS3 and (the newest) SiteGrinder 3 so you can see for yourself just how easy it is to open Photoshop and begin creating! No need to worry about HTML or CSS (or even know what either of those mean!). SiteGrinder will take care of it all for you, with the resulting state of the art-right now code clean enough for the geekiest of geeks to approve. This isn’t like “creating” a web page in Word and having to wonder at all the extraneous code playing around in the source code of the page. This is using a tool you love (Photoshop) to actually create the visual goodies for a web site in your comfort zone, then using another tool from within Photoshop to “grind” it all down and turn it into a site you can be proud of using signals (hints) in Photoshop instead of having to learn a bunch of code and rules for web site design. So that’s where they came up with the name!
